These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of https://www.fortiesplaybook.com and any free or paid digital content, products or services offered under the Forties Playbook brand.
Forties Playbook is operated by The Thrive Consultancy FZCO, registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates under registration number DSO-FZCO-11445. By using the website, requesting a resource or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or purchase our products.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to purchase our products. Our products are intended for personal use by adults.
2. Our content and products
Forties Playbook provides educational lifestyle and wellbeing content, which may include downloadable planners, guides, workbooks, audio content, digital tools, email content and online programmes.
The description, format, language, price and access arrangements shown on the relevant sales page form part of your purchase. We may improve or update content where this does not materially reduce a product you have already purchased.
3. Educational use and no medical care
Our content is general educational and informational material. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, emergency support or a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional. The Health & Wellbeing Disclaimer forms part of these Terms.
4. Orders and contract formation
You are responsible for ensuring that the information supplied during checkout is accurate. An order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we accept the order and send an order confirmation or provide access to the product, whichever occurs first.
We may decline or cancel an order before delivery if there is a pricing or technical error, suspected fraud, unlawful activity or another legitimate reason. If we cancel an order after payment and before delivery, we will refund the amount paid.
5. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices and currencies are displayed at checkout. Applicable taxes will be shown or included as required. Payments are processed securely by Stripe and may also be subject to Stripe's terms and privacy practices.
You authorise us and Stripe to charge the selected payment method for the total amount displayed at checkout. You are responsible for any currency-conversion or bank charges imposed by your provider.
6. Digital delivery
Digital products are delivered electronically to the email address provided during checkout or made available through a download or access link. You are responsible for providing a valid email address and checking spam or promotions folders.
If you do not receive access within the timeframe stated at checkout, contact support@fortiesplaybook.com so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, restore access or provide the purchased content.
7. Final sales, cancellations and refunds
Because our products are digital and may be accessed, downloaded or consumed immediately, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds or exchanges once digital delivery or access has begun, except where:
- applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to cancel or receive a refund;
- the product was not delivered and we cannot provide it within a reasonable time after you notify us;
- the digital content is materially defective or materially different from its description and we cannot remedy the issue within a reasonable time; or
- we expressly state a different refund policy on the relevant sales page.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where applicable law provides a cooling-off or cancellation period for digital content, you expressly request immediate performance and delivery by selecting the relevant unchecked box at checkout. You acknowledge that once access or downloading begins, you may lose that cancellation right to the extent permitted by applicable law. This acknowledgement will be included in your order confirmation where required.

8. Personal licence
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, purchasing or downloading our content gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

- resell, sublicense or commercially exploit it;
- adapt it into a competing product, programme, template, training or service;

- use Forties Playbook names, logos, designs or branding in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.
9. Intellectual property
The website, brand, copy, graphics, designs, downloads, audio, frameworks and other content are owned by or licensed to The Thrive Consultancy FZCO and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Forties Playbook and associated brand elements may not be used without written permission.
10. Acceptable website use
You must not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape content at scale, use automated systems in a way that burdens the website, or use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes.
We may suspend access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
11. No guaranteed results
Experiences and outcomes vary. We do not guarantee any particular health, sleep, emotional, lifestyle, financial or other result. Testimonials and examples describe individual experiences and are not promises that you will obtain the same result.
12. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the website and products available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may temporarily suspend availability for maintenance, security or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
13. Third-party services and links

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising from a paid product will not exceed the amount you paid us for that product during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights.
15. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses reasonably incurred by us as a direct result of your unlawful use of the website, infringement of our intellectual property or material breach of these Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the laws applicable in the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates.
The courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates will have jurisdiction, subject always to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdictional protections that apply in the country where you live.
Before commencing formal proceedings, you and we agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the matter by written communication for at least 30 days, unless urgent relief is required.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you purchase a product will ordinarily govern that purchase. Updated Terms apply to future website use and future purchases from the date they are posted.
18. Severability and waiver
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
19. Entire agreement
These Terms, the relevant product description, our Privacy Policy and our Health & Wellbeing Disclaimer form the agreement between you and us concerning the relevant use or purchase.
